COP 15 – The political dimension
The target group for this teaching programme is the oldest classes of lower secondary schools. The programme may be applied in subjects dealing with social matters and social science studies.
COP 15 - The political dimension - Overview
The goal of this teaching programme is for the pupils to gain insight into the following main areas:
- Insight into the contents of the Kyoto protocol and the task to reach a new accord.
- Insight into COP15 and UNFCCC, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change
- To cooperate with others online.
The theme specifically discusses opinions relating to climate politics expressed by various interest groups at a given point in time. As the negotiations go forward expressed opinions might already be consideres outdated.
Even the media bringing the story might have an agenda on its own. See also the 'Climate in the media' theme.

Evaluation can take place in many different ways and on many levels, and there are major differences in the evaluation culture from one school to another and from one country to another. These are a few examples of evaluation techniques.
