Potential activity extensions

The French Environment and Energy Administration Agency has, for the portal Kyoto in the Home, developed the game Ecoville where you build a virtual city with the aim of minimising energy consumption and the emission of greenhouse gases.

There are other ways of lowering the emission of CO2 than changing to renewable energy.

 

The Canadian website Renewable Energy Action Plans has suggestions as to how the individual can lower CO2 emissions (PDF file)

The British BBC has on the portal Bloom an interactive guide to the ways in which the individual can lower the emission of CO2. Can the pupils use any of those suggestions in their homes?
