GLOBE's Climate Research Campaign will empower students, teachers and communities around the world to realize their individual and collective potential to impact one of the most challenging issues of our time.

The GLOBE goals are to:

• involve over 1,000,000 students in Climate Research
• enhance environmental and climate literacy for millions of people around the world
• empower students, teachers, and community members to take action on climate-related environmental issues
• create a compelling model for 21st century environmental science education based on grade-level appropriate research and learning experiences.

To achieve these goals, GLOBE is engaging its worldwide network of GLOBE Partners, teachers, scientists, alumni, schools and countries, leveraging its rich set of scientific protocols, educational materials, and data, and enlisting the support of some of the world's leading climate change scientists, internationally recognized education and outreach experts, businesses, foundations, and policy makers.
