A follow-up to the European Climate Teach-In Day activity will be the “World Climate Teach-In Day”, to be held on Friday, the 4th June 2010.

The "European Climate Teach-In Day" consisted of:

• a set of presentations in English and German was provided by some of the reknowned experts on climate change
• a set of videos on the scientific, economic and social aspects of climate change could and can be downloaded
• a discussion forum which was on-line for 24 hours during the period of the initiative.
• In addition to lectures, participant schools and universities was provided with a set of guiding questions which could then be discussed as well as with a film which could and can be shown whenever possible.

The target groups were:

• Secondary school students (Upper levels)
• University students of all subjects
• University lecturers and professors and
• Interested individuals

As mentioned above a follow-up will occur on Friday, the 4th June 2010.
