St. John’s International Conference on Education 2010 will be held from Tuesday, June 22nd, to Saturday, June 26th, 2010 in Prague (the place will be specified in March based on the number of registered participants) – the main session (June 25th – 26th), and in St. John College, Svatý Jan pod Skalou 1, 266 01 p.o. Beroun – the opening ceremony (June 22nd) and the symposium on Dao De Jing (June 23rd – 24th).

The general goal of the conference will be to provide an opportunity for sharing ideas on cognitive, environmental and intercultural learning, starting with pre-school age and up to open universities and universities of the third age.

The conference will provide many opportunities for scholars, academicians and professionals in education and related fields to interact with members inside and outside of their own particular disciplines.

Topics include:

• What does the sustainable life imply?
  
  
• Education in the sustainable life/development in environmental and/or multicultural education projects
  
  
• EcoCounselling in EU and in the world – a strategy supporting the sustainability
  
  
• Methods of initial education in perceptiveness towards the sustainable life.
